How to: Hide or color gridlines.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, and click the 'View' tab. Select the 'Gridlines' check box (a blank field means that the gridlines will be hidden). Use the drop-down list box to select a color for the gridlines.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'View' tab.
3) In the 'Window Options' group, select the 'Gridlines' check box. (A blank check box hides the gridlines.)
4) To color gridlines, select a color from the palette in the 'Color' drop-down list. (The default is 'Automatic', which displays the black gridlines.)
5) Click 'OK'.
